This designation has more strongly positioned me to help my clients avoid making emotional decisions about finances that can lead to negative outcomes,” Yasharel said.

LOS ANGELES, CA, February 27, 2021 Senmer News Wire — Daniel Farid Yasharel, CFP®, a Senior partner of NWF Advisory Group in Los Angeles, CA, has recently earned the Behavioral Financial Advisor (BFA™) designation. The Kaplan University School of Professional and Continuing Education, in conjunction with Think2Perform®, has awarded Daniel Farid Yasharel the Behavioral Financial Advisor™ designation.

The BFA designation is awarded to advisors who have undergone training to learn to help clients make financial decisions using a rational, values-based approach. Mr. Yasharel learned to integrate techniques founded in traditional finance, psychology, and neuroscience to positively influence clients’ spending and saving behavior in the presence of common but challenging emotions.

The specialized program, offered through Kaplan Financial and Think2Perform, trains advisors to help clients make better financial decisions through a rational, values-based approach; better prepare clients for unplanned life events and understand how traditional financial practices are driven by psychology and neuroscience.

By delivering on the value of behavioral finance and emotional competence, he distinguishes himself by doing more than just managing money, but by adding holistic value to his clients, by helping them make rational, values-based decisions with their money.

“This designation has more strongly positioned me to help my clients avoid making emotional decisions about finances that can lead to negative outcomes,” Yasharel said. “This new knowledge, paired with my years of experience, will allow my clients to focus even more sharply on making rational financial decisions that support their goals.”

“I’ve been committed to taking part in training opportunities and professional development conferences throughout my career because they not only educate me about trends in the industry, but they provide me with tangible solutions meeting my clients’ needs,” Yasharel said.

In addition of being a graduate of The American College of Financial Services with a master’s degree in Financial Services (MSFS), he is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and holds numerous other industry professional designations, and he also holds FINRA’s Series 7, and Series 6, and 63. His practicing history can be reviewed at brokercheck.finra.org.
