“We must work individually and together with others to achieve peace, and peace teachers must be able to demonstrate to others the value of peace as an example of peace.”

SEOUL, KOREA, July 19, 2021 Senmer News Wire — International World Peace organization HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, and Restoration of Light) is working during the pandemic to train people around the world to become Peace Educators, who are teachers of HWPL’s Peace Education. HWPL’s goal through the Peace Educators is to leave World Peace as an inheritance to future generations by helping people understand true peace and formulate practical solutions to the problems which cause international conflict, war, and ultimately loss of human life.

Peace Educators are certified through HWPL Peace Education courses, which include learning to teach the HWPL peace curriculum for adults and school-age children. HWPL curriculum focuses on the DPCW (Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War) which was drafted by Man Hee Lee, Chairman of HWPL, and international law experts as a Law which includes practical measures to establish and maintain peace. Also included in the curriculum is peace within nature which has enriched life since it began, as well as the ultimate causes of war and the values to be set in place which would allow for peace to be widely accepted and maintained. The DPCW is currently under review by the United Nations and includes an Article about the need for Peace Education in future generations.

Recently, the Daejeon, South Korea branch of HWPL hosted a Peace Educator Training focusing on “The Need for Peace Educators”. Five (5) participants from 4 different countries (Croatia, North Macedonia, Greece and Pakistan) attended the training. Trainees consisted of primary/elementary school teachers, college professors and directors of international non-profit organizations. One Peace Educator trainee stated: “We must work individually and together with others to achieve peace, and peace teachers must be able to demonstrate to others the value of peace as an example of peace.” HWPL is credited with training people to teach about the need for peace and implementing their training instead of only advocating and bringing awareness to international conflict.

Currently, HWPL Peace Education is being offered at 214 educational institutions in 34 countries with a goal to train students into messengers of peace. HWPL also has sub-organizations like IWPG (International Women’s Peace Group) and IPYG (International Peace Youth Group) to partner with all citizens to share the message of peace and establish the DPCW as binding international law to leave a lasting legacy of peace. More information about current HWPL events can be found here.
