Since 1980, Ms. Paschal has taught mathematics courses from Fundamentals of Mathematics to Calculus AB. She is currently teaching honors algebra and pre-calculus at Lake View High School in the San Angelo Independent School District.
Ms. Paschal is also active as part of the curriculum writing team for the San Angelo Independent School District, the Texas Math and Science Coaches Association and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. She has also excelled as an advisor for books for publication and conducts book reviews in algebra for Holt Publishers. Moreover, Ms. Paschal coaches the mathematics team at Lake View High School and was appointed as a coordinator for the University Interscholastic League of Lake View High School.
In 2021, Ms. Paschal earned a 40 Year Pin from the San Angelo Independent School District. Aside from her primary work as an educator, she volunteers with her local church and other charitable organizations. In 1980, Ms. Paschal obtained a bachelor’s degree in mathematics with a minor in biology from Angelo State University.
Inducted to the International Association of Top Professionals Hall of Fame, Ms. Paschal has been further distinguished among the Top 50 Fearless Leaders of the International Association of Top Professionals. Likewise, she has been presented with Teacher of the Year Awards in 2019, 2014 and 2000. Ms. Paschal was additionally honored as the Top Educator of the Year in 2017.
