“When I accessed mental health services for the first time, I immediately saw the inefficiencies in not only accessing care but purely navigating the mental health care ecosystem as a whole.”

WASHINGTON, DC, October 14, 2021 Senmer News Wire — Rose Health, a leading digital mental health start-up, announces they will aggressively begin its Series A funding on October 15th. Rose will use the funds to enhance the performance of its behavioral analytics system for early-risk and high-risk mental health prediction as well as a dynamic metric integrating its Natural Language Processing system with other behavioral health metrics such as wearable biomarkers, voice tone, phone activity, and clinical assessments. In addition to expanding its sales and marketing team, funds will also be used to collaborate with a leader in the industry to launch a new feature that will close the gap in the mental health “access to care” problem.

“When I accessed mental health services for the first time, I immediately saw the inefficiencies in not only accessing care but purely navigating the mental health care ecosystem as a whole. It was then when I took my own personal experience to create a Smarter Mental Health platform for everyone,” says founder Kavi Misri. “Now, with our collaboration efforts, we will finally be able to end the access to care problem, a pain point that has plagued the mental health industry from the beginning.”

Thanks to an oversubscribed seed round, Rose has raised $2.6 million to date. These funds have been used to hire 30 FTE, complete a phase 1 IRB study, and develop patent-pending technology for early detection of depression and mood disorders. The software platform received early support from Johns Hopkins University’s Social Innovation Lab and Johns Hopkins Medicine’s Hexcite medical software accelerator.

“Through its evidence-based research and cutting-edge patent-pending technology, Rose Health has executed a successful go-to-market strategy,” says a lead investor. “Rose Health has a stellar team of sales and marketing directors, medical experts, and deep tech engineers that are ready to take mental health to the next level. We are excited about the new collaboration and are confident about the future.”

The core of Rose Health’s integrated technology is the mental health provider-facing dashboard and the patient-facing mobile platform. Using patent-pending AI and natural language processing technology, the platform can detect markers in speech and emotion to help identify early warning signs of depression and mood disorder conditions. Rose aggregates patient data to identify trends, allows the physician to gain key insights on patients in-between visits, and maximizes care management efficiency and scale to decrease costs of care and improve patient outcomes.

The company now serves more than 30 physician groups and has plans to enter into the large market segment of ACOs. Rose is projecting about $1 million in 2021 revenue with a soon-to-be-launched adolescent platform, 5 upcoming pilots, and an exciting new collaborative partnership.
