SAN ANTONIO, TX, October 30, 2021 Senmer News WireNFT.NYC Conference, New York, New York: SearchLight by NFTs.Tips is proud to announce Monique Sullivan will be part of the Mask Ephemera Exhibition for the NFT.NYC Conference from Monday, November 1st – Thursday, November 4th, 2021. Mask Ephemera explores the role of NFTs in shaping our identities in the increasingly prevalent digital masquerade of social media and entertainment on the blockchain. The exhibition includes work ranging from that of emerging artists to some of the most prominent, world-class artists in the NFT space.

“Adventure and the pioneering spirit unfold everyday in the NFT world,” said Monique Sullivan.

Instant photography captures the nostalgia of idealism and the magic of serendipity. The digital age and analog film are colliding to create a new interaction in the conversation of contemporary photography. Utilizing innovative tools, the enchantment of Polaroid is bursting with new flavors, creativity and excitement. Within this new technology lives the mutation of fine art and the adventurous spirit of Americana. I explore these peculiarities with an assortment of cameras, mediums and techniques.

“Gemini Series 023” illustrates the harmony of the intellect, instinct and intuition. Ethereal dreams of freedom hidden behind a moody masquerade. A symbolic butterfly floating through a metaverse with fields of bountiful NFT flowers, while delicately spreading the metadata pollen of each blossoming imagination. It is the social butterfly under high intensity wavelength ultraviolet light.

We are early to the digital Renaissance, but our culture is beginning to transform. It is a revolution of art history and timing matters. There is an abundance mindset in the crypto space and it needs more diverse perspectives from every walks of life. Opportunities for generational wealth will be handed to great-grandchildren as doors open for all. The focus on provenance, authenticity and audience engagement as an artist is well worth the wait.

Activities during the Conference will include the Mask Ephemera exhibition, located in several different spaces in conjunction with the main NFT.NYC Conference center, including shows in the metaverse at both the SearchLight Gallery in Spatial.io, and Pranksy’s Gallery in Decentraland. Docent tours in several languages will be provided throughout the week for the latter. There will also be several satellite events, including a show at the Triad Theater in New York City with live performances by NFT artists, and panel discussions from some of the leading Collectible teams in the space.

SearchLight maintains an Artists Pool from which they select artists for their exhibitions. Artists are added to the Pool several times per year, vetted by the Team from Call for Artists submissions. The original Pool, which contained 180 artists, has now grown to 322 from over 25 countries. Artists in the Pool were invited to submit a pre-existing work or a newly created one that addressed the Mask Ephemera theme. From that process, 142 artworks were selected to be featured in the week of events. Collecting NFT Art can be a form of patronage and support for artists and creativity itself.

“The first NFT I collected was from @m0niquesullivan,” expressed Joseph Gerardi- Quantum Variant- NYC : “I love this whole collection. The way she exposes Polaroid film to create these beautiful chemically abstracted reactions is stunning. Photochemically created generative physical art, each one has so much depth and beauty.”
