Driven to pursue a career in law, Ms. Rigby earned a Bachelor of Laws from Pontifica Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in 2012. During that time, she worked as a summer associate with Berges Rojas & Accosiados, where she built a foundation in intellectual property. Likewise, Ms. Rigby served as a lawyer with Oficina Marranzini, through which she advised clients regarding property matters, including on purchase agreements, rental and sales contracts, leasing transactional arrangements and more.

Upon graduating with a bachelor’s degree, Ms. Rigby received a certificate in international law and legal studies from New York University and Master of Laws from Mississippi College’s School of Law. Following these accomplishments, she began her career as a paralegal with Mixon Carroll & Frazier PLC. In this capacity, Ms. Rigby prepared legal documents, pleadings and correspondence, drafted interrogatories and requested documents. She also delivered briefs in support of litigation matters, researched and analyzed cases and statutory law under the Employee Discrimination Act, and summarized research in legal memorandum to clients.

Over the course of the following years, Ms. Rigby gained valuable expertise in the field as a paralegal with Sam Brand Law Group and the Law Offices of Joseph A. Romano. Supported by her wealth of experience, she excels today as an associate attorney with Abogados Centro Legal. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Ms. Rigby aligns herself with The Mississippi Hispanic Association and the American Association for Justice.

Outside of her work, Ms. Rigby contributes as a recruiting assistant for Best Buddies International. While her career has been filled with highlights, she is most proud to have consistently availed herself to her clients.
