Additionally, Dr. Schneider teaches clinical skills, ethics and courses in social determinants of health and medical ethics to medical students on campus at HWCOM.

In Santa Fe, Dr. Schneider served as the Student Health and Wellness of the Student Health Office at Saint John’s College during 2015 and as a professor between 2005 and 2015. Having long committed his career to teaching, academic medicine, and community health, Dr. Schneider aspires to continue making a difference in the lives of others. He also hopes to set an example for his students to excel in their respective fields. Hoping to further advance in his career by acquiring a higher position in the near future, Dr. Schneider also aims to exert a positive impact on medical education and its current approach to health and health care in the U.S.

Hammoud, as part of a series of books from the American Medical Association published by Elsevier. Written for medical professionals, the book provides real-life clinical experiences and expert advice to medical educators. Aside from his medical writing contributions, Dr. Schneider enjoys creative writing. He has written several screenplays and hopes to publish a novel in the near future.

Civically engaged, Dr. Schneider co-founded and serves as the president of Project Treehouse, which he established alongside his wife. The organization raises funds for service-learning opportunities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Project Treehouse also participated in several fundraising events to support underprivileged residents of Miami-Dade County by delivering food and other necessary items to their doorsteps.

Dr. Schneider received a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy at the University of Dallas in 1990, followed by a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Missouri Columbia School of Medicine in 1995.
